If you need to find or erase your device before you remove it from your trusted device list, you can use Find My iPhone. Removing a trusted device will ensure that it can no longer display verification codes and that access to iCloud, and other Apple services on the device, is blocked until you sign in again with two-factor authentication. You can also remove a trusted device by selecting Remove from Account from the device list.

Tap Continue on the Two-Factor Authentication screen. Obviously, the first one on the left there is what you’ll click when you want to find a device, but you also have access to your Apple Pay options (if you want to remove a stolen device from your accounts, for example) and your Apple Watch Settings (which’ll let you jump right into the choices for that fine piece of equipment, including taking it off of Apple Pay, too).
